I love the archive -- thanks to all who worked to make this happen. I have a suggestion for the site programmers. Search would be much more productive if some basic keywords were added for band Genre (ie Rock, country, rap, etc). This would be more consistent if a picklist is provided for authors when creating a concert page.

Would also be nice to sort results by number of stars. These could result in less search requests and lower server load. And of course help people find music of interest faster.

Thanks again to the site admin team for the great service!

Thanks Diana. I'm apparently not the first one to think of it. Kind of a newbie to this forum. I appreciate the pointers. :-)

speaking of country and rap... is there even any on the archive?

would love to see some rap on here... thats the one genre that is almost never represented well ... I guess mostly because they dont have much open taping... but there should be a way to get to the younger rappers out there! :)

Yes, I run across a couple rap bands in recent search results. But I'm not a big rap fan so I didn't take notice of the band names. Sorry. Good luck.

There's definitely some rap in Open Source Audio if not LMA. Search OSA for rap, and/or check out say Alrick Brown or Tone Shock (BTW I linked to part of uploader id in those since they aren't all well tagged with creator or keyword- but name searching will get you to some of the items also).

Alfred Howard and the K23 Orchestra are jam/rap if I'm not mistaken, but they only have a couple shows up so far.
And for country, Hank Williams III is on the Archive. At each show, I believe he does one traditional, country set and then one really hard rock set.
